I am a self-taught artist (originally from Pensacola, FL) and I’ve always loved trying different creative methods/mediums, but when I decided to try oil painting a few years ago, I never anticipated loving it as much as I do. My imagination is a swirling mixture of surrealism, steampunk aesthetic, magical worlds or settings…. and characters imagined before their story is written. Though I still love creating artwork digitally or through other traditional methods like drawing with charcoals, oil painting is currently my favorite way to bring my ideas to life with color and detail.
